What a review checks
A reviewer checks claims against sources for a named version. The record lists the parts checked: text, FAQs, numbers, captions, narration or language. A source check alone is not a clinical review. AI cannot sign one.
Three badges
- AI-assisted draft, not yet reviewed: no completed outside review covers this version.
- Reviewed by {name, credential} on {date}: a real record names the reviewer and scope. The record says whether a pharmacist, clinician or both checked it.
- Updated {date}; re-review pending: content changed after review. The old record stays in the history.
A language check does not replace a clinical check. If only part was reviewed, the badge says which part.
Who can review
Clinical reviewers need an active licence and expertise suited to the task. A science reviewer may check science within their field. That alone is not a clinical sign-off. Language reviewers need native-level skill and health expertise. A student needs a qualified supervisor to sign.
We propose checking licences each year with the official register. Reviewers disclose relevant money ties from the last 36 months. Someone paid by a drug's maker may not review that drug under this policy. Fixed pay is for work, not a favorable verdict. [FOUNDER TO SUPPLY: owner of conflict checks and signed review agreements].
Records and current status
Keep identity, licence check, conflicts, version/hash, sources, scope, findings, date, time spent and next due date. Keep earlier records. Name a reviewer only after real review and consent. The supplied audit has no outside approvals. [VERIFY: current counts from page records before release]. We cannot report average review time until real timed reviews exist.
Use Corrections to challenge a claim. A reviewer may ask to have their name removed from text changed beyond their review.
